Mr Arijana Nikolić Vučinić is the new executive director of the Foreign Investors Council of Montenegro. She was elected to this position by a unanimous decision of the board of directors of the Foreign Investors Council, which consists of Tamas Kamarasi, President of the Council and Chairman of the Management Board of CKB, Martin Leberle, Chairman of the Management Board of NLB Bank, Branko Mitrović, CEO of One, Vasilis Panagopoulos, CEO of Jugopetrol, and David Margason, CEO of Adriatic Marinas – Porto Montenegro.

Ms. Nikolić Vučinić graduated and obtained a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica. From 2006 to 2013, she served as Coordinator of the Department for Regional Trade Cooperation, Regional Organizations, and Initiatives at the Ministry of Economy. After that, she was appointed Director General of the Directorate for Labor Market and Employment at the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare. During the same period, she was the chief negotiator for Chapters 2 (Free Movement of Workers) and 19 (Social Policy and Employment) as part of Montenegro’s accession negotiations with the European Union.

She also served as Director General of the Directorate for Preschool, Primary, and Inclusive Education at the Ministry of Education. She is also engaged as the National Coordinator of the international computer school for children and youth “Coding Giants,” which conducts its educational programs worldwide.

TThe Foreign Investors Council of Montenegro was established in 2009 and brings together the most significant international companies in the country. One of the Council’s goals is to improve the investment climate and provide support for the further development of the overall business environment. Through its activities, the Foreign Investors Council represents the experiences and views of its members to create more successful solutions that can lead to an increase in foreign direct investment.
