The President of the Montenegrin Foreign Investors Council, Tamas Kamarasi, Executive Director Arijana Nikolić Vučinić, and Board Member Remon Zakaria, met with Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and his associates.
Representatives of the Council took the opportunity to acquaint the Prime Minister with the challenges faced by foreign investors, as well as with the Development Strategy of the MFIC for the period from 2024 to 2026.
“We are encouraged by the Government’s readiness to address more effectively the recognized challenges faced by foreign investors. We believe that special attention will be given to carefully making decisions that can affect the overall economy, with a particular emphasis on tax policy and further harmonization of the legal framework with European standards,” said Tamas Kamarasi.
“We believe in economic changes and creating new values for our citizens. To this end, it is necessary to work uncompromisingly on eliminating the informal economy and business barriers,” Prime Minister Spajić conveyed during the meeting with representatives of the MFIC.
The meeting also agreed on intensified cooperation and the schedule of meetings between council representatives and the Government aimed at improving the overall business environment in the country.
