Additionally, Remon Zakaria, the Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) office in Montenegro, is a newly elected member.

During the assembly, a new mid-term strategy of the MFIC for the period 2024 – 2026 was adopted. This strategy, developed in collaboration with the prestigious American consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG), outlines the direction for future activities. The strategy defines the mission, vision, and activities to be implemented in the coming years.

Furthermore, the new Articles of Association of MFIC was approved, along with accompanying documents. Some of the innovations introduced by the new Statute include extending the terms of the Board of Directors and the President from one to two years, while the Executive Director will serve a three-year term.

The category of patron members has been introduced, and a new membership fee structure has been established. The Statute also specifies the formation of four new committees and mandates that each board member, apart from the President, will chair one of these committees.
