The ESG Adria Summit at Porto Montenegro brought together over 600 participants from 🇲🇪, the region, and the world. Our Remon Zakaria, a member of the Board of Directors, was one of the speakers on the panel “Green Asset Ratio: Opportunities and Challenges in ESG Reporting.”

The panelists agreed that new technologies and methodologies can eliminate challenges in data collection and increase reporting accuracy. The importance of transparency, along with adequate regulatory frameworks, was particularly emphasized as crucial in combating “greenwashing” and other malpractices.

Remon Zakaria highlighted the importance of collaboration with decision-makers in the adoption of ESG standards. Through the actions of our Green Economy (ESG) committee, the MFIC will provide necessary support to this process.
