At the first “MFIC Talks” event, we hosted Sava Laketic, the Acting Director of the Tax Administration. The President of the MFIC, Tamas Kamarasi, had a discussion with our guest about the most important issues and challenges related the work of the Tax Administration.
Speaking about priorities, Sava Laketic emphasized that they are currently drafting a strategic document outlining goals for the next four years, focusing on providing more efficient services to all taxpayers. In this process, the focus will be on digitalizing services and strengthening the human resources of the Administration. Special attention will also be given to improving inspection oversight and bringing the informal economy into legal channels.
Representatives of member companies also attended the event, sharing their observations and experiences regarding the work of the Tax Administration.
The “MFIC Talks” concept was created to initiate dialogue with decision-makers on topics significant to foreign investors and the entire business community.
