Held Meeting of the ESG Committee

We recently held a meeting of the MFIC ESG Committee, with participants joining both in person and online. The session was chaired by our Remon Zakaria, who leads the ESG Committee.

One of the key points on the agenda was the Carbon Emissions Tracker, a practical tool developed for our member companies, allowing them to track their progress in reducing emissions over time. It will also enable us, as MFIC, to better understand and present the collective impact of our members’ efforts, and to support a more data-driven approach to ESG in Montenegro.

Supporting the adoption of ESG standards and helping the wider business community in Montenegro align with these practices is one of the key priorities in our work. Several MFIC member companies are already advancing their ESG strategies in meaningful ways, showing that environmental and social responsibility can go hand in hand with business performance. Their experience is not only valuable within their own organisations, but also serves as a reference point for the broader market.
